This list has the 10 outstanding designers of the 2019 Windhoek Fashion Week there where more than 30 designers and we had to cut this list down to the once we think made a impressive display of their garments with creative themes some of the names on the list are new comers to the industry but set a great deal of time and planning in their collections the list runs as usual from the best to the rest.
The underlying cause of the Windhoek Fashion Week Melisa has been repeatedly been one of the best acts of the Annual WFW as she develops as a Fashion idol the more this Annual event becomes pivoted around here themes a great undertaking for a inspirational designer her collections too have professionalism written all over it who knows what she might come out with is year it might just be one of those collections that throws her career right into the mainstream.
Leah is just as inspirational and a trend setter her collection on the 2019 WFW was just an embodiment of her hard work and dedication to the Namibian Fashion Industry often she holds collective displays with Melisa and their designs never seize to amaze just like Melissa she is one of the themed performers of the WFW and just like here she carries her load.
Chris Loa is a debutant of the Namibian Fashion scene yet already designs and displays like an experienced veteran his work is done with ease and has that curiosity about it one of the most outstanding acts of the WFW and a designer to look out for in the not so far future fearless and daunting yet creative at the same time a performer who not in anyway intimidated by the big stage on the contrary it inspires him for more.
Quin-Leigh has grown a lot as a designer in this short spell in her career always tries to compete at the higher levels from day one always pushing herself trying to maintain a acceptable consistent pace drawing inspiration from everything around her forging and exaggerating it to form a bigger picture with more emphasis it won't be long before she actually reaches her personal objectives a designer one would look out for if you meed to draw inspiration.
Maria is not only a reliable attribute to Namibian Fashion she contributes in all it's genres and actually excels in all she sets a inspirationally consistent social status one of Namibia's locally groomed celebated and sorted after brands a influencers and trend setter making her presence known where ever she is and her collections seem to replicate her persona.
Salmi is one of the WFW key acts effortlessly playing a economic yeat present existence to herself and that tend to have resonated to her brand still to make a bold statement of her own one would assume out of reason that she is setting up her following for a inevitable cataclysmic finale if you are the type that sees the class half full the entire clan have their eyes on her waiting in suspense.
Unlike Melisa, Gina has a completely different attitude to her Brand one would suggest she might be looking for a more consistent Fashion Brand that supplies irregardless of desire or demand from a individual client she is looking for a wider audience for her branded clothing rather than having them sell themselves she is using platforms of the type to market her brand through it's professional stage.
Deon Made this event through a high profile externship project but took it by storm the collections where of exceptional standard and despite the outcome of his externship he will still be one of those much anticipated regulars of this Platform looking at his designs in would only make sense that this is where he belongs a solo act might be on the carts for this designer in the future as it seems nothing or no one would actually drag him down or talk him out of it anytime soon but out of all a great contribution to the Namibian Fashion Industry.
Ingo is already a made designer when look at by debut don't designers a mentor and trend setter comes up with great initiatives and bold statements through his brand a regular in all the main stage events already an icon in the Namibian Fashion House it would have justified this list to put him at the top but it would just make this list formulated which i really am not a big fan off so on this years list here he is here 9th.
TM Clothing has gone completely in a different direction compared to the other designers on the list a local sports brand that given birth to event similar to the WFW it is iconic and bold it is arguably the most powerful Brand on this list and flexes it's weight all around the industry if there is one thing about Dennis besides his remarkable designs is that he has the formula for a successful fashion brand in this country for building a self sustaining Fashion brand from ground up no one actually thought it was possible in a country with a small population majority of whom are impoverished and uneducated a feat much applauded.
