The Zula Festival is relatively new in the country but has been attended by a considerable amount of guest from Namibia and Botswana this festival was created to empower youth entrepreneurship even though it's new it has been highly recommend.
The San are part of the Khoe natives of Africa, they have been living in and around the Kalahari for as long as the dawn of modern humans they are well settled in a small village at the Border between Namibia and Botswana where they practice early mankind cultures craft and art in secluded villages throughout the Border one of this small villages is Sonneblom.
The Kalahari Desert is a Sandy Arid landscape with considerable amounts of Wildlife living within protected reserves this piece of land is home to one of the most famous breed of Lions the Black Manned African Lions they hunt throughout the region sharing the Bushveld's with plenty of other predators including the infamous Wilddogs.
There are numerous pleasant Lodges scattered around the Gobabis District but the one that stands out is the Tuuana Lodge with a clear view of the Kalahari and the food there might be western with a local twist but makes for arguably the best gastronomic experiences in the district.
Most of the outstanding balance between native tunes and Afro Blends are performed at Trade fairs all over the country Gobabis included the Omaheke Trade fair has some of the best culture practices in the land and all are shamelessly on display at this little Fair.
